Jake grew up in South Jersey before moving to Maryland for college. He has been a life-long athlete with a passion for understanding functional movement patterns of the body. His journey has taken him through college athletics, working as a rock climbing instructor, and acquiring his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He had been introduced to yoga at an early age, but it wasn’t until the COVID lockdown that he rediscovered yoga and his passion flourished.

Jake completed his 200 hour training through Aluma, and is committed to giving back to the community that supported his practice and development. He believes that every body and every mind can benefit from yoga. His classes encourage exploration with the intent to awaken the body and quiet the mind.

Currently, Jake works in the finance industry, and aside from deepening his yoga practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife rock climbing, weight training, and spending as much time in nature as possible.
