Maya took her first yoga class in high school, but she didn't practice regularly until she began taking prenatal yoga classes during her pregnancy. Here, she fell in love with yoga as a form of movement and as a spiritual practice. She loved that yoga had the ability to help women rediscover and unite their minds and bodies.
Maya completed her training with Aluma Yoga in 2026 and is 200hr RYT certified through Yoga Alliance. She teaches vinyasa style classes with a focus on breath and intuitive movement. Maya's goal is to help students explore the way their bodies move and feel in a safe and welcoming environment. Off the mat, she enjoys hiking, watching live music, and spending time with her toddler and husband.
