Yoga has been a life-changer for me. I was always very athletic, staying fit biking, running, swimming but tended to be injury prone. I began as a student of Yoga over ten years ago and then had a horse-riding accident and suffered from a serious traumatic brain injury. I had to learn how to walk again. As physical therapy progressed, I began going back to Yoga and found my body getting stronger and balance returning. That is when I decided to become a Yoga Instructor and help others. Now it’s been over six years and I have taught at several local studios, the Towson Y, and have held outside and ZOOM Yoga from my home since the pandemic. I have also been certified and trained through Love Your Brain Yoga and other therapeutic techniques. Though I can teach a strong Vinyasa flow I also enjoy teaching more of a gentle full-body Yoga with alignment and breathing cues. I try to listen to my students and guide my classes with their needs in mind, adding a bit of inspiration when I can, and hopefully expressing peace and love……
