Jeannie began practicing Vinyasa yoga in 2004 and quickly fell in love with the vibrant flow of movement and its connection to the breath. She received her 200-hour yoga training at Charm City Yoga in 2007 and has been teaching ever since. Jeannie uses her experience as both a yoga instructor and a physical therapy assistant to create a fun and energetic yoga practice for her group and private classes that emphasizes breathwork, alignment and core strengthening. She feels passionate about sharing how yoga promotes a healthy body and peaceful mind while specializing in teaching students how to safely adapt and modify the practice for their specific needs.Jeannie lives in Baltimore with her husband, daughter and son where they spend their free time exploring local nature trails, hanging out at the neighborhood pool or enjoying family movie nights.

Jaclyn Leo is a Certified Health Coach and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with a passion for supporting people to create lives they love. She started practicing yoga over 15 years ago, experimenting with various styles, until finding Aluma in 2018.She received her BFA, with a focus in General Fine Art and Museum Education, from the Maryland Institute College of Art, worked at the Walters Art Museum and American Visionary Art Museum prior to beginning her family, and launching her coaching practice.Jackie lives in Parkton, Maryland with her husband and three boys. In her free time, you can find Jackie working with clay, taking care of her chickens, reading, and deepening her yoga practice.

Melody Kleeman is the founder of Aluma Yoga. She is devoted to creating spaces that support healing, transformation, and authentic connection through yoga, Pilates, other forms of movement, and travel.Her classes are reflective, progressive, and intentionally sequenced. Students are invited to explore self-inquiry and build a relationship with their mind, body, and soul that extends beyond the mat. With a background in dance, her teaching carries a distinct signature: precise, thoughtfully composed sequencing shaped by graceful lines and rhythmic movement.In 2012, Melody left her career as a special education teacher to study yoga in Costa Rica. After earning her 200-hour certification, she began teaching full-time and has since completed her E-RYT 500. Her work now spans private and corporate instruction, teacher training, advanced mentorship, workshops, events, and international retreats.
