108 Sun Salutations – Winter Solstice
The winter solstice, also known as midwinter, marks the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year. It occurs when one of the Earth's poles has its maximum tilt away from the Sun. A sun salutation is simply a salute to the sun; it’s a way to greet the day, practice gratitude, get your blood flowing, and create some beautiful prana (energy).
108 Sun Salutations is a moving meditation that is both a challenging and calming all at the same time the benefit of this practice is that you will invigorate your body, and calm your mind. This is a great opportunity reflect on 2018 and establish intentions, and mantras for the upcoming new year.
